An E2E suite that actually catches regressions
A Playwright E2E suite covering one critical user flow end-to-end (signup → checkout, or login → create → verify, on a small seeded app). You write it with deterministic waits and test isolation from the start, run it green on main, then intentionally plant a regression on a branch and prove the exact same suite fails for the exact reason you planted — the way a real CI gate is supposed to behave.

- 02Write the E2E test using Playwright's built-in auto-waiting and locator-based assertions — zero hardcoded `sleep`/`waitForTimeout` calls.
- 03Seed and tear down test data per test (fresh user/cart per run) so tests can run in parallel without cross-test contamination.
- 04Run the suite 10x consecutively in CI (or a local loop) to establish a flake-free baseline before trusting it as a gate.
- 05On a separate branch, plant one deliberate regression in the flow (e.g. checkout button stops firing, or a total miscalculates) and re-run the suite.
- 06Document which specific assertion failed and why, then revert the regression and confirm the suite returns to green.
